Teleworking - where?

The satellite office

Depending on the individual task, satellite and home offices and also mobile and virtual offices are feasible for teleworking.

Satellite offices, sometimes also called "remote offices" or "telework
centres" are smaller, decentrally organised office units for increasing the function, capacity or infrastructure of the central administration:

Branch office Functionally specialised office building with regional location for the customer's benefit.

Specialisation of appropriate demarcation of resources, such as banks, savings banks, chain stores, department stores, etc.

Regional office
Peripheral office
Local office
Office building organised for regional needs - on the edge of towns, for example to avoid long journeys and traffic congestion for customers and staff.

Largely self-sufficient in its resources - often occupied by employees of different companies.

Pinpoint office Small office unit - for example at concentrations of traffic (airports) or on the edge of towns (administration close to the people), etc.
Special building Branches with special functional organisation - such as conference and training centres, sales and exhibition rooms, etc.
